Seat Foam Not the Best
March 24, 2024

Ordered a new seat foam and guts cover for my 08 KX250F Cover looks great....but seat foam is gonna need a fair amount of tweaking to get to fit on my original plastic. Almist an inch to long up front where seat meets gas tank and then comes up short about ¾ inch at the rear of seat. For making their own seats.....Guts can do a way better job at pouring the mould. Wouldn't reccomend the foam but would still reccomend their seat covers..

Medium Firmness too hard for me
May 17, 2021

I purchased a medium softness, tall seat for my 2016 KTM 500EXC. While the foam and cover were a little troublesome to mount at first, I did get it to work eventually (but still has some small ripples in cover). But, for me, the medium firmness of the foam is too firm. I don't know if this is based on it being a Tall seat, but it feels like I'm sitting on a 2x4. I have had the seat now for 6 months and it's too painful to ride on pavement or flat fire-roads. I have to stand up for the entire time. I'd love to try the softest foam in the Tall style, but I may be past the warranty and I used glue to mount the foam to the pan, so I'm sure it will probably tear if I remove it.
