I ordered a complete custom seat for my 2025 YZ450F and was really disappointed overall. The seat looked good and the foam felt comfortable, but the fitment was nowhere near OEM quality, especially around the tank/front area where there were noticeable gaps. I sent it back once for adjustment and the fit still wasn’t right. Belinda Wright was the one positive part of the experience and was helpful throughout the process, but overall I expected much better for a $300+ seat. After paying another $58 just to return it, I definitely would not buy another complete seat from GUTS again.

Yes, I’m upset, for the money I just spent on a complete seat I find it despicable that Guts never mentioned that the Yamaha cap cover was not installed as any reasonable person would expect with a “complete seat including gas cap cover”. I can and have successfully installed many seat covers before but with the intricacy required for the YZ I decided to pay the extra money and just get a complete seat. So when I opened the box and pulled out my covered seat and then cap cover that needed to be installed I was furious. Certainly they didn’t just scam me like that, but yes, yes they did and there is no way the above average consumer can install that gas cap cover with any success (riveted and recessed Dsuz fastener) Shame on GUTS I will never buy or endorse any of their products again. Of course I can’t return it because I opened the seat package before I noticed the separate un-installed gas cap cover. Not cool Guts.

Thanks for reaching out and we're so sorry that the item was not as you were expecting.

It was not our intention to scam you at all! To be clear, there is no extra charge for the gas cap cover and in the product title, it says "includes gas cap cover", not replacement gas cap piece. The gas cap cover is included on all seat covers and complete seats that require it.

One thing we want to point out as well, is that Yamaha also does not include the gas cap piece with their replacement OEM seat. It is a separate product for $70.99.

You can certainly return the seat for a full refund as it would still be considered in its original, unused, and resellable condition. Please use the attached return form and include it with the item. The correct shipping address is below:
